Volunteers

The Family Support Network of Central Carolina could not exist without the assistance of the many generous individuals who support us as volunteers. Here are a few ways you can help local families get the help and support they need to provide the special care their children deserve.

*Become a Support Parent- Our Parent Mentor Program focuses on providing emotional support to families who have a child with special needs, or born prematurely. Family Support Network follows the researched and endorsed practices of Parent to Parent USA for parent support.  For more information about Parent to Parent, check out their website at p2pusa.orgIf you feel you could help other families by becoming a Mentor Parent, please contact us!

*Help out at one of our events- From our NICU socials to our annual Spring Picnic and Holiday Jamboree, we rely on contributions of time and energy from community partners like YOU! There are many ways you can help bring our services to families in our area. Please email support@fsncc.org or fill out the volunteer form below if you are interested in helping to coordinate or help out at one of our many events for families.

*Serve on a committee- We are always looking for graduate parents and community members that would like to help us with the planning of our various events and fundraisers throughout the year. There is a place for all skill sets! Please contact us to learn more about the many opportunities available.
